1. Seller of record
Paddle acts as the authorized reseller and seller of record for paid AcePass transactions. Paddle processes the payment, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, and approved refunds. AcePass does not send refunds directly to a payment card or bank account.
This policy supplements the Paddle Refund Policy and Paddle Buyer Terms. If applicable law or Paddle’s policy gives you greater rights, those rights apply.
2. Product and access period
The AcePass paid product is a one-time purchase that provides immediate digital access to the specified exam’s paid practice modes for seven consecutive days after payment is confirmed. It is not a recurring subscription and does not automatically renew.
3. General refund rule
Except where required by law or expressly stated below, completed digital-access purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. This reflects that access begins immediately and the complete question bank and practice functionality can be used during the short access period.
Paddle may approve a refund in its discretion and will apply mandatory consumer withdrawal and refund rights for your country. Immediate use of digital content may affect a statutory withdrawal right where you expressly consented to immediate access at checkout.
4. Situations eligible for review
Contact us or Paddle promptly if:
- you were charged more than once for the same intended purchase;
- payment completed but the purchased access was not delivered within a reasonable time;
- a material technical defect prevented you from using the paid product and we could not restore access;
- the paid product was materially different from the description shown before checkout;
- the transaction was unauthorized; or
- applicable consumer law gives you a withdrawal or refund right.
Refunds may be declined where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, account sharing, manipulation, or substantial use followed only by a change-of-mind request, except where law requires otherwise.
5. How to request a refund
Submit the request through Paddle Buyer Support, using the email address and transaction details shown on your Paddle receipt. You may also email [email protected] so we can investigate product delivery or technical issues and provide relevant information to Paddle.
Include the purchase email, transaction or receipt number, exam purchased, date, and a concise description of the issue. Never email your full card number or security code.
6. Processing and effect of a refund
Paddle determines and processes approved refunds to the original payment method. Timing depends on the payment method, financial institution, and applicable law. When a purchase is refunded or reversed, access associated with that purchase may end immediately. Practice history that is not legally required to be removed may remain in your account.
7. Taxes and chargebacks
Requests concerning sales-tax or VAT treatment are handled by Paddle as seller of record and may be subject to separate deadlines and documentation requirements. If you do not recognize a charge or have a delivery problem, contact Paddle or AcePass before starting a chargeback so the issue can be investigated promptly. This does not limit your right to dispute a genuinely unauthorized transaction.
