Terms and Conditions

AcePass is the brand under which this independently operated educational service is offered (“AcePass,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions form an agreement between AcePass and each person who visits the website, creates an account, uses free practice, or purchases access (“you”). By using AcePass, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

If you do not agree, do not create an account, purchase access, or use the service. Mandatory rights available to you under applicable consumer law are not limited by these terms.

AcePass provides independent study and practice materials for licensing examinations, including TLC, CDL, motorcycle, and related U.S. licensing topics. AcePass is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission, any DMV, or any other government or testing authority.

Practice questions are educational materials and are not represented as current official examination questions. Rules and test requirements can change. You remain responsible for consulting the latest official handbook, notices, and eligibility requirements. Use of AcePass does not guarantee admission to, completion of, or success on any examination.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• One account is for one person and may not be sold, transferred, or shared.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
• The service is not directed to children under 13.
• Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

Registered users may use the Try Free mode at no charge. A paid purchase for an eligible exam unlocks the paid practice modes described on the product page, including the available fixed exams, topics, marathon, mistakes, and favorites, for seven consecutive days after payment is confirmed.

The current advertised price is shown before checkout. The $99 offer is a one-time purchase for a seven-day access period and does not automatically renew. Taxes and the final amount are presented by Paddle at checkout based on your location. When an access period expires, saved account history may remain available, but a new purchase is required to start new paid practice sessions.

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the authorized reseller and seller of record for the transaction. Your purchase through Paddle is also governed by the applicable Paddle Buyer Terms. Paddle calculates applicable transaction taxes, issues the payment confirmation, and handles payment and refund processing. AcePass does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access the service and use its materials for your own exam preparation during the period for which access is available.

You may not:

• copy, publish, sell, sublicense, scrape, or systematically extract questions or explanations;
• share paid access, bypass access controls, or interfere with the service;
• reverse engineer the website except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• use automated tools to collect content or overload the service;
• use AcePass in a fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, or rights-infringing manner.

The AcePass website, branding, software, original questions, translations, explanations, graphics, and organization of the material are owned by or licensed to AcePass and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. References to agencies, examinations, laws, signs, or public rules are used for identification and educational discussion and do not imply sponsorship.

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every item will remain unchanged. We may correct questions, update explanations, improve features, or temporarily suspend parts of the service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons. If a material technical failure prevents delivery of purchased access, contact us so we can restore access or arrange an appropriate remedy under the Refund Policy.

Refund eligibility and requests are described in our Refund Policy. Because Paddle is the seller of record, refunds are issued through Paddle rather than paid directly by AcePass. Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory refund, withdrawal, or consumer-protection right.

You may stop using AcePass at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, payment reversal, account sharing, a security threat, unlawful conduct, or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination.

To the extent permitted by law, AcePass is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that can legally be disclaimed, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not responsible for decisions of a licensing authority, examination results, changes in official rules, or losses caused by relying on outdated third-party information.

To the extent permitted by law, AcePass will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or lost profits arising from use of the service. AcePass’s aggregate liability relating to a paid access period will not exceed the amount paid for that access period. These exclusions do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The updated date will be shown above. Material changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated when required. These terms are governed by laws applicable to AcePass and to you, without limiting mandatory protections in your place of residence. Before filing a claim, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally.
